On Dec. 24^th, the Vice-Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chairman of The Central Committee of China Zhi Gong Party and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Wan Gang visited Hunan Sunward Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. (Sunward for short) with the accompany of Provincial and Municipal leader in Hu’nan including Han Yongwen, Yang Baohua, Zhang Jianfei, Dong Xuesheng, Cheng Shuiquan, Yang Yiwen and Li Keming. Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Wan conducted high praise on Sunward which used self-innovation to lead corporate development under the situation of global financial crisis.

Mr. Wan went to the workshops of Sunward located in the Sunward 1^st Industrial Park in Changsha Economy and Development District, visiting the products of Sunward excavators, spin drilling rigs and forklifts. He paid more attention on Sunward electric forklifts, saying highly on the eco-friendly and fuel-saving forklifts, encouraging their innovative strategy. When going into the excavator assembly workshop, the first batch of light airplanes attracted the interests of Mr. Wan. These models including AURORA and so on were all self-developed and manufactured by Sunward. They were not only used for military investigation but also for disaster release. Mr. Wan expressed his hope toward Sunward that the enterprise would continue to make use of science and technology to act as the support of economic and social development, so that these achievements of science and technology would bring more benefits to the whole country.

Mr.Wan said that he was quite glad to see the developmental momentum in Hu’nan in recent years. It was reported that Hu’nan Province had obtained plenty of self-innovation achievements, such as Yuan Longping’s super hybrid rice breeding research, inhabited light airplane developed by Sunward, Zoomlion’s acquisition of CIFA and successful integration of global resources and so on.
