Perkins Engines Company Limited has announced it has developed a zero percent APR financing program for all U.S. and Canadian diesel irrigation power units. Models covered include the company’s 404D-22 at 43.3 bhp (32.2 bkW) @ 3000 rpm through to the 1106D-E66TA at 191.5 bhp (142.8 bkW) @ 2200 rpm.

This program is designed to help customers meet their agricultural pumping needs with availability of below-market interest rates.

The financing program is available through U.S. and Canadian Perkins distributors and extended through Global Power Finance. This program offers 0% APR over a 12-month repayment period on any qualifying purchases made between October 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010. Promotional rates will apply on all applicable Perkins diesel power units including those used to power new irrigation pump applications or to re-power existing irrigation equipment.

Perkins’ 0% APR financing offer is based on Perkins supplied engines, components and applicable sales tax. An additional 10% of the total purchase can be used for customer installation costs. Low financing rates are also available to qualified purchases beyond 12-month terms. This program encompasses installment sale contracts and full payout finance leases.
