On Nov. 12^th, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee Liu Qi visited the Industrial Park of Sany Group in Beijing, conducting investigation in title of Keeping Growth and Promoting Development. The Chairman of the Board of Sany Group Mr. Liang Wen’gen warmly welcomed Secretary Liu on behalf of all the Sany people.

In the R&D Building of Sany, Secretary Liu Qi listened to the elaborated explanation of Mr. Liang Wen’gen on Sany products, including the pump truck with lift arm reaching 70m, rotary drilling rig with digging depth of 100m, large-scaled crane with load capacity of 1600 ton, as well as 200-ton excavator, all of which have broke the monopolization of foreign technology. When told that all these self-developed products were the results of Sany using stock right incentive policy to guide the technicians to persist innovation, Secretary Liu showed his great appreciation.

Among these self-intellectual products of Sany, the concrete pump truck which was used to transport materials for building construction attracted the attention of the leaders. This pump truck used diesel pump to transport the concrete to the building with height of 500m. Secretary Liu Qi commented:” we need not only to construct high buildings, but also to assure the safety of the buildings. There were lots of high buildings in Beijing and the fire protection has become an issue. We hope that enterprises could solve these problems relying on self-innovation.”

On hearing that some of pile pressing machines in Sany had got rid of price competition and faced with competitors from the world wide to expand market shares by high quality and performance, Secretary Liu Qi expressed his praise on the spirit of Sany to forge forward. He said that high-end manufacturing was the key industry Beijing stressed on. “We shall make full use of the intellectual advantages of technological talents in Beijing, encouraging the enterprises to walk along the way of self-innovation to own high-end products with complete self-intellectual rights. As the enterprises become stronger in the international stage, the industrial structure will move to a higher level. Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Government will support the development of Sany in an all round way.”

After that, Secretary Liu went to the workshop to visit the assembly process of SR420, the largest rotary drilling rig in Asia. He inquired Mr. Li Zhongyin, Sany’s supervisor of pile pressing machines in Beijing about the application results of leading technologies, highly praising the position of Sany machines in Beijing market.

Another key development of Sany Group in Beijing was the energy industry. When visiting to the product line of wind turbines, Secretary Liu was told that based on the professional research and development team with the largest scale in the field, Sany had developed all the components used on wind turbine, from blade, generator to turbine tower, which had been listed to be top ten in China. Liu Qi said that it was the right direction to develop new energy industry and impel low-carbon economy, recycling economy and green economy.

At the end of the investigation, Secretary Liu encouraged Sany, “Sany products are competitive, and your goal can be much higher!”

Mr. Liang Wen’gen promised to invite Secretary Liu to cut the ribbons when their revenue reached the target of RMB 30 billion Yuan.
