The 10^th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2009) was held from November 3^rd to 6^th, 2009 in Beijing International Conference & Exhibition Center. More than 900 exhibitors from China and abroad attended the exhibition.

As one of the famous heavy-duty forklift manufacturers in China, Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd. brought new products including 3T-6T internal combustion engine forklifts to BICES. The exhibition area of Dalian was larger than last year, and it was notable that Dalian Forklift was the only one exhibitor mainly manufacturing industrial trucks at BICES, attracting a number of visitors.

Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd. was formerly Dalian Forklift Factory established in 1946. In 1958, Dalian produced the first forklift in China, opening up the course of forklift manufacturing in China. The historical industrial base which had supported the emergence of China forklift industry conducted reformations in 2003, and the newly-reformed Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd. now forged forward to a higher target.

There are numerous “firsts” created by Dalian in China forklift industry, such as the first forklift; first forklift specialized for satellite launch; first 8T, 10T and 15T forklifts; the first 20T, 28T, 40T, 42T and 45T forklifts; first empty container forklift; first full container forklift; first container reach stacker; first timber clamping forklift; first terminal tractor and so on.

Dalian is keeping improvement toward a higher target to gear to the international market.
