Perkins has expanded its Power Exchange range of remanufactured long and short engines to include the 400C and 1100C products.
The 400C addition includes the 403-11, 403-15, 404-22 and 404-22T and Perkins’ 1100C, 3, 4 and 6 cylinder, Tier-2 products.
Perkins’ remanufacturing programme utilises years of experience to offer end users a fast, cost effective solution which is also environmentally friendly as 70 per cent of the material used in the original manufacturing process is recovered.
Remanufactured components are covered by a full 12-month warranty, and perform as good as or better than the original product.
The Perkins Power Exchange Programme is a simple process that ensures the customers’ productivity is maintained. The customer orders a remanufactured part, receives and installs it in their engine and returns the old part to Perkins.
Andrew Wright, Perkins Power Exchange product manager said: “With new emissions regulations being introduced every few years, the Perkins Power Exchange Programme is an ideal way to ensure that customers have easy access to parts for their heritage engines.
“We have had a great response from customers, particularly in the power generation, agricultural and construction sectors. People have immediately latched onto the benefits – namely the product looks the same, works the same, comes with a year’s warranty and is cheaper.”
