On May 15^th, Komatsu Forklift (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Tianli Forklift Assembly & Maintenance Co., Ltd. held Promotion Conference of New Komatsu Forklift—Komatsu HYBRID AE50 series Forklift in WHWJ (Wanhaowanjia) Hotel in Nangang, Guangzhou, Guangdong. More than famous enterprises and representatives from logistics industry attended the promotion conference.

The General Manager of Komatsu Forklift (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Tianli Bai Junhuo made addresses on the conference, and presided over the ceremony of new Komatsy HYBRID AE50 forklifts.

The conference arranged demonstration of the new HYBRID AE50 forklifts, and the Manager of Komatsu Forklift Guangzhou Office introduced the features of the new forklift to all the visitors.

Komatsu AE50 hybrid forklift uses two kinds of different braking systems, which can alternate power system according to the operation. Komatsu started selling hybrid forklifts in global world since 2007. As for hybrid, it means the combination of battery and capacitor. Komatsu AE50 hybrid forklift is featured with magnetic valve, AC motor system, double-drive motor, CANbus technology, emergency switch, seat belt, wet sealed braking system, making the new series of forklifts outstanding among the same kind of products. The hybrid feature is extraordinary on the following aspects:

·Longer operating time。As the hybrid forklift is installed with reverse charger, the battery can recover 80% after fast charging for 1 hour.

·Low energy consumption. The hybrid forklift can save 20% energy consumption compared with the standard AE50 electric forklift. With capacitor, AE50 hybrid forklift can effectively make use of generative power and save 20% in the KU test.

·The capacitor provides the forklift with more power that it will not cut off due to low voltage. The hybrid can offer 20% power more than the common forklift.

·Maintenance-free battery. The sealed battery needs no watering. The application of sealed battery without watering necessity will eliminate the watering time lasting for 30-50 minutes as well as the worry of battery wear-out.

·Reduction of C0₂ emission. The emission of CO₂ will be reduced 85% and 20% respectively compared with ICE forklift and standard electric forklift. The hybrid forklift is eco-friendly by using generative energy.
