Doosan Infracore is taking ‘the 7th DIMF 2009: Doosan International Machine Tools Fair’ in the Changwon Plant 1 on the 13th and 14th and unveils 45 kinds of new strategic goods to meet the upcoming economic recovery.

The world machine tools markets are teetering in a severe recession, witnessing a sales drop of 30-50% compared to the same period of the previous year. For this reason, most competitors and major companies cancelled their participation in international exhibitions or downsized their structures.

In this situation, it is very extraordinary that Doosan Infracore is holding an exhibition at an international level as an individual company.

The aggressive marketing strategy of Doosan Infracore for the exhibition is catching on in spite of the lethargic economic situation and more than 300 dealers who account for most of the worldwide dealers and 2,000 officials from the machine tool industry at home and abroad are joining in the event.

Doosan Infracore is displaying mega-sized next-generation strategic goods including 18 kinds of turning centers, 21 kinds of machining centers, and 6 kinds of electric discharge machines.

In addition, Swiss Turn, the 24-hour automated machining tool that makes it possible to mass-produce micro-sized precision parts in the electric, electronic, precision medical instrument industry is grabbing a lot of attention.

DIMF, which marks its 7th anniversary this year, is a large-sized international machine tool fair that Doosan Infracore has held biannually since 1997, in order to support the move to overseas markets, order expansion, and provide a competitive sales edge.
