On March 1^st, China Top Ten CFO 2008 & the 5^th China CFO Forum was held in Beijing. Duan Dawei, Vice-President and CFO of Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Sany) was awarded to be China Top Ten CFO 2008.

The selection theme of China Top Ten CFO 2008 was Successful CFO in Difficulty Times. In 2008, due to the influences of financial crisis, the world economy clouded up and Chinese economy was also rocked substantially. As the CFO of Sany, Duan Dawei made in-time adjustment of financial policy after analyzing the economy situation at home and abroad in a complete way. He advocated grasping development opportunity during the interchange between international and domestic conditions in the changing economic environment all over the world, making great contribution on the development of Sany against the bad time.

Chief Accountant of China Securities Regulatory Commission Zhou Zhonghui awarded the prize to Duan Dawei. When talking about Sany establishing plant in Germany the other day, Duan Dawei said that it was a part of Sany to accomplish internationalization strategy. He believed that although financial crisis was still affecting, there will be more Chinese enterprises to grow up as outstanding world-class enterprises.
