On March 6^th-8^th, 2008, Guangzhou International Brand Forklift & Accessories Exhibition was held at Pazhou Complex of Chinese Import & Export Commodities Fair in Guangzhou jointly by China Forklift Co., Ltd., Hongkong Best International Exhibition (Group) Company and Guangzhou Best Exhibition Co., Ltd. During this period, 2009 Sales Conference of China Forklift Co., Ltd. was grandly held at 8:30-12:00 a.m. on March 8^th at Guangzhou Jinjiali Hotel.
　　

Nearly 20 member companies of China Forklift Co., Ltd. and matching manufactories attended this conference, such as Anhui Heli, Hangcha, Dalian Forklift, Xiamen Forklift, Liugong, Cascade, Jingjiang, Yituo, Shuangli, Shanghai Yufan, Yuchai, Rugao Baoxiang and Yichang Forklift. General Manager of China Forklift Co., Ltd., Zhao Jiming announced to start the conference and gave a speech. Mr. Zhao made a detailed report on the conference in terms of forklift’s situation in 2008. He said that in 2008, 18 member factories of China Forklift Co., Ltd. produced 90,544 power-driven forklifts (including tractors), slightly reducing 2.1% and sold 91,602 power-driven forklifts (including tractors), increasing 0.7% compared with 2007, which was estimated to be 60% of national total forklift sales volume (170,000) in 2007. Foreign forklift enterprises amount to 17%.

Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. and Hangcha Co., Ltd. hold almost the same sales and production volume in 2008 with last year, and Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd. reduced a little in terms of sales compared with 2007.

On the other hand, Jiangsu Jingjiang Forklift Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Liugong Forklift Co., Ltd. increased significantly in 2008, sales of which respectively realizing 40% and 70%.

Although affected greatly by the international financial crisis, the sales of China Forklift Co., Ltd. moved upward in 2008 and it was for the successively ten years that China Forklift Co., Ltd. kept increasing momentum.

“Optimistically speaking, the sales of forklift industry in 2009 will keep the same level with last year as the economic status falls downward. However, on pessimistic opinion, the sales may reduce and appear negative increase. The sales of forklifts in January decreased almost 50% in the year-on-year comparison. After the financial crisis, there will incredibly be reforms among forklift industry, thus enterprises shall not be too optimistic regarding forklift industry to enter this field rashly.” Mr. Zhao concluded.

Then, Sales Director of Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. Deng Li, Sales Director of Zhejiang Hangcha Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. Jiang Hanping, Vice-President of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. Huang Min, Vice General Manager of Dalian Forklift Co., Ltd. Wang Junjiang, Sales Director of Xiagong Group Xiamen Forklift Truck Factory Guo Shengzhi, Sales Manager of Jingjiang Forklift Co., Ltd. Lu Jianbin and Vice Manager of Yituo (Luoyang) Transportation Machinery Co., Ltd. Bi Sheng made speeches on the conference, putting forward their views aiming at the measure taken by plants to reduce price to handle with financial crisis. Sales supervisors of China Forklift Co., Ltd. members and forklift matching manufactories reported on recent operation situation and prospects of their companies.
