Yuchai Group held Press Release and Marketing Service Conference on Jan. 13^th, 2009, on which the company reported that annual sales income in 2008 broke through RMB 20 Billion Yuan, amount to RMB 20.84 Billion, realizing the given goal of remanufacturing another Yuchai in three years on time. Yuchai increased to RMB 20.84 Billion from RMB 12.139 Billion in 2005 by increase rate of 71.71%, among which diesel engines reached production and sales of 550,000 sets increasing by 105.36%, keeping to be No.1 in terms of production and sales in the same industry in China and realizing double-digit increase in successive 8 years. 

·Yang Daoxi Appreciated Yuchai for the Outstanding Contribution to Guangxi

On the press release of marketing strategies in early 2006, Yuchai put forward the goal of Remanufacturing Another Yuchai in Three Years, which meant that the sales income exceeded RMB 20 Billion Yuan. In 2007, Yuchai Group realized sales income of RMB 18.3 Billion, marching a great step forward; and in the past 2008, Yuchai Group insisted on innovative operation to expand markets, overcoming the challenges from the natural disaster and financial pressure and fulfilling the promise of Remanufacturing Another Yuchai in Three Years under the time spirit of Sincerity, Responsibility, Passion and Innovation.

Vice-President of People’s Government of Guangxi attended the 2009 Press Release and Marketing Service Conference, and showed appreciation on the great contribution Yuchai made on the economic development in Guangxi.  

·Yulin Municipal Party Committee and Government Awarded Yuchai Group for RMB 2 Million

In 2008, Yuchai Group actively practiced the strategy of Yulin Municipal Party Committee and Government to rejuvenate Yulin through strengthening Yuchai. Against the background that the whole world was attacked by the financial crisis and auto industry went downturn, Yuchai became the fist enterprise in Yulin City realizing RMB 20 Billion of annual sales income, forcefully driving the fast development of industrial economy and making outstanding contribution for healthy and fast development of economy and society in Yulin. People’s Government of Yuchai awarded Yuchai by RMB 2 Million Yuan.

Jin Xiangjun, the Governor of People’s Government of Yulin, announced the prize for Yuchai on the 2009 Press Release and Marketing Service Conference. Yan Ping, the Chairman of Director Board of Yuchai Group honorably received the prize on behalf of the Group.

Remanufacturing Another Yuchai in Three Years has exceeded the common concept of operational scale, of which the operational quality and elements has moved to a higher level, laying sound foundation on the quality, competence, talent and system of the enterprise and strategically supporting the faster leap-forward development of Yuchai. On the conference, Yan Ping drew the development plan of Yuchai Group in the future. He pointed out that the sales income goal of Yuchai would be RMB 35-55 Billion in the coming 3-5 years and RMB 80 Billion in 2015. Meanwhile, the Group will also make their every effort to construct a professional and international team, form self-innovative ability to build world-class construction research institute and erect world-famous brand.

Yan Ping said that the economy appeared to increase slower due to the financial crisis and 2009 must a challenging year. All the enterprises are preparing and planning for new strategies. In order to go smoothly in the difficult times, Yuchai made new plans as follows:

VII.                to make ready the capital operation to search for opportunity to be listed again;

VIII.               to start risk control system so as to keep a lookout when risks arising;

On the basis of new strategies and measures, Yuchai will go further along their target.
