CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 2008--Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) will highlight the role its Components businesses play in helping Cummins deliver sustainable earnings growth at a conference today for industry analysts at the Company's North American turbocharger production facility.
The Components Group is Cummins' fastest-growing business segment. It consists of four businesses - filtration, turbochargers, exhaust aftertreatment and fuel systems - which together offer some of the Company's most significant growth opportunities.
Components Group President Rich Freeland and the heads of each of the businesses will make presentations to analysts and will be available to answer questions. Those in attendance also will be offered tours of Cummins' 112,000-square-foot turbocharger manufacturing plant.
Today's presentations will outline the Company's efforts to grow revenue and profits over the next two to three years. The conference will center around three basic themes:
