bauma China 2008 – the 4th International Trade Exhibition for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment which will be held from 25 to 28 November 2008 at Shanghai New International Expo Center, is an extension of the world’s biggest construction machinery show – bauma. bauma China is expected to be the most influential construction machinery show in Asia for Year 2008.

The Ministry of Commerce of the P.R. China and the German Federal Ministry of Economics will jointly organize an Import Show on the German Construction Machinery and Technology for the first time during bauma China 2008. It will provide the additional opportunities to fortify the relationships between Chinese and German decision makers from the industry.

With bauma China 2008 just around the corner, visitor delegation organizing for the show has reached new heights. The organizer forecast that bauma China 2008 will attract more than 100,000 trade visitors, of which decision-makers will exceed 10,000 people.

In order to shorten registration time on-site, organizer suggests that visitors to register themselves online at www.bauma-china.com. Visitors from China who register online will get their badges mailed to them in advance so that they can enter the exhibition halls once they arrive. For online registered Chinese visitors who do not receive their badges on time, they can exchange for their badges when they arrive at the “Pre-Registered Visitors” counter using their confirmation of pre-registration. All pre-registered visitors will receive a show catalogue of bauma China 2008 worth 100 RMB, and a chance to win some great prizes!

To provide ease to visitors, the organizer has also arranged for shuttle bus services to transport visitors from Century Park Metro Station (Metro Line No. 2) to the exhibition center. Approximately 50 shuttle buses has been arranged to ensure ease and convenience of visitors coming for bauma China 2008.

International Buyers Expected at bauma China 2008

bauma China 2008 provides an ideal business opportunity for both exhibitors and their buyers and an ideal communication platform for them.

As of to-date, visitors from 101 countries have pre-registered themselves online at www.bauma-china.com. A large number of international visitors will also be visiting bauma China 2008 through arrangements by travel agencies. There is also a rapid increase in the number of visitors coming from Southeast Asia, Middle East and South America regions. This increase is closely related to the increase in oil prices in Middle East and South America regions, leading to increased number of construction projects in these regions. The recovery of Brazil, the center for construction machinery industry in South America, is another reason for this increase in visitors from South America region. The potential of these new and upcoming construction machinery markets around the world cannot be ignored.

With Year 2008 being the year of the Beijing Olympics, bauma China not only attracts trade visitors from outside, it also attracts visitors from within China. Trade associations from various provinces and cities in China will be organizing group visits for their members. From the feedback received by the organizer, responses from the trade associations in various provinces and cities are high.

bauma China 2008 International Visitor Promotion Reaches New Heights

Since September 2008, the organizer has embarked on an intensive visitor promotion campaign for bauma China 2008.
