In these times of more intensive global collaboration intralogistics require new and innovative services. Many corporate divisions and sites are located spatially far apart from one another. For managerial staff this frequently means time-consuming enquiries or travel in order to obtain an overview of costs and structures on the spot.
This is where STILL, the leading provider for the intelligent control of intralogistics, is able to help with the STILLReport. STILLReport is a new web-supported software tool that clearly increases the transparency of international industrial truck fleets from many aspects.
STILLReport consists of three levels: organization, analysis and optimization. These are mutually complementary and each one has useful functions in itself for the better planning, implementation and control of optimization measures. Thus, for example, the number of plants involved and vehicles deployed can be recognized at a glance. Statistical values such as the average age, relevant sites and countries of the various industrial trucks are also recorded.
Organization, analysis and optimization – the three levels that lead to greater transparency
The second level "analysis" determines among other things the service costs per period. The analysis allows detailed assertions for each individual vehicle, e.g. relating to the deployment times or kilometres driven.
The third level reveals hidden potential improvements. Practice-orientated service schedules that fit exactly into the operational procedures can be established under the designation "Optimization". Rapidly understandable overviews make it easy for managers to gain an overview of national and pan-European fleets or of the vehicles at a single site. In many intralogistics procedures there are improvement opportunities that can be recognized and implemented with STILLReport. The cost structures can also be displayed and changed by this means.
In addition a clear contribution to the environment is made on account of the lower energy consumption due to the optimized fleet size, achieved in turn as a result of the targeted deployment of intercoordinated trucks.
STILL shows potential cost savings in the area of teleservicing and with the new energy-saving concept "Blue-Q = IQ", an intelligent autopilot for economy and environmental responsibility.
