On Sep. 12^th 2008, Linde (China) continued the Leading Industry EHS – Green Purchasing Seminar Series in Wuhan, Hubei province.  About 100 companies including Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile, Dongfeng Motor, Dongfeng Honda, Wuhan Tobacco, and Budweiser Beer attended the event.  

Mr. Yuan Xinhui, the head of Wuhan Environmental Protection Association praised Linde (China)’s effort in environmental protection and high attention to EHS in product design and development. Mr. Chen Mao, Head of Dealer & Agent management Department stressed the importance of “Green Purchasing” considerations to avoid EHS violations in everyday work.

In the seminar, BSI’s trainer shared some tips on Green Purchasing and some case studies on the EHS benefits. Logistics expert from Linde (China) also took the chance to share the various EHS considerations in our products and solutions.

After the seminar, all participants took part in mini-golf and traditional Xiamen dice game during mid-autumn festival. Some participants said the knowledge of production safety and environmental protection would be useful for their daily work.
