The summer passion is on fire because of the Olympic flame. Since the beginning of June, The chairman of Guilin Yuchai Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (ab.GLYC), Weipeng was invited to visit South-Asia L Group. Vice-Chief Engineer and Director of foreign trade were accompanying. After in-depth discussions, both companies achieve common ground on the co-operation of exploiting the tractor and forklift truck market in South-Asia countries.

The chairman of South-Asia L Group invited Mr.Wei and delegation to visit his apartment with kind invitation. During the talking, Mr.Wei made a brief introduction of Yuchai Group, GLYC, including the products series, capability, sales network and relative information. The chairman of South-Asia L Group showed a deep interest in Yuchai products and he hoped to popularize Yuchai series products in South-Asia countries. Both sides reached an agreement on trading price, delivery time and after-sale services for the first trading order.

The next day, in the office building which locates in the centre of this country’s capital, Mr.Wei signed a ten million contract with the chairman of South-Asia L Group. After that, Mr.Wei and his delegation visited the repair plant etc owned by L Group. 

 Since this year, steel price in domestic market has been increasing, which causes the competition among construction machinery more and more intense and fierce. Our price range is higher than that of the counterparts. Although we are facing great cost-rising pressure which comes from the increasing price of raw material, GLYC adjusts the marketing strategy, reinforces developing overseas market. And this is the only way to overcome the current hardship.
