On Jully 3^rd, the design communication and assessment meeting for Yuchai casting center was held. The standing member of Yulin Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Liu Zifu attended the meeting.

Yuchai invested RMB2.3 billion Yuan on the casting center, among which the 1st phase project was invested RMB 960 million Yuan. After the construction of the 1^st phase project and combining the former casting productivity, Yuchai Casting Company will annually produce 220,000 ton of grey casting iron, which will become the largest diesel engine and grey casting iron production base in Asia with annual output value of RMB 2.2 billion Yuan, value-added tax of RMB 92.18 million Yuan and income tax of RMB 44.11 million Yuan.

On the assessment meeting, the designers introduced the bird-view plan, general planning picture, general plane, technique modules, road network, water supply and drainage, power supply and distribution and so on. Supervisors from Municipal Development and Reform Commission, State Land Bureau, Planning Bureau, Power Supply and Environmental Protection Bureau as well as relative experts evaluated the planning, and set forth their suggestions.

Liu Zifu required that as Yuchai casting center was a project of great investment, high technological content and good economic profit, each department at each level shall make their efforts to promote the construction of the casting center. Relative departments governed by the Municipal Government shall provide excellent service, so shall Yuchai Industrial Park. Each department shall be ready to serve the construction of Yuchai casting center without any condition to realize earlier settlement of Yuchai casting center so as to put into production and create economic profit earlier, too.
