On June 12^th, starting ceremony of 2008 safety production journey was held in the East Square of Helong Stadium in Changsha, Hunan Province. The Safety Production Journey sponsored by Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS), Ministry of Public Security, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, National Federation of Trade Union and Communist Youth League will be opened in Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan. The Party member and Deputy Director of SAWS Yang Yuanyuan, Vice-Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Mei Kebao, Vice-Mayor of Hunan Chen Zhaoxiong and Deputy Director of State Administration Of Coal Mine Safety Peng Jianxun attended this ceremony.

The theme of this activity is to handle the hidden trouble to prevent accidents. As one of the six teams on the starting ceremony, Sunward staff wore blue safety hat and held plate of Sunward: Safety Production and Cherish Life, showing the attractive spirit of Sunward.

In order to build up the atmosphere of Safety Production and Cherish Life and to handle the hidden troubles, the company sticks to the working principle of safety first and precaution crucial, establishing complete safety management system according to Safety Production Law and relevant regulations. 7S office of Sunward held fire-fighting knowledge training and exercise in April and lifting skill contest for lifting operators in June; Sunward also is preparing for the 7S Knowledge Contest in July. Sunward has strengthened the training force to enhance the staff’s safety management sense so as to practice the safety management work of the company.
