The most noteworthy news for media is the formal declaration of the new general manager appointment of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. - Mr. Jan Willem Jongert. Mr. Jongert was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, 1964. He finished his studies as international Marketing Management at the Rotterdam Business School. Mr. Jongert has been in the forklift industry for more than 20 years and has been with Jungheinrich since 2001. Before taking on his current role as regional director Asia and GM Jungheinrich China in April, 2008, he headed as system sales, key account Manager, export manager, and regional director North & East Europe. He demonstrated excellence in management and recorded sales growth. Mr. Jan Willem Jongert also made a proposal on site of donation for Si Chuan disaster area.
