On April 27^th, President of China National Trade Union of Machinery, Metallurgy and Construction Material Liu Haihua, Vice-President of General Trade Union Yi Geyang, Vice-President of Shandong Trade Union of National Defense Machinery & Electronics Gong Ruifeng arrived at Shantui to award National May 1^st Prize on behalf of China Federation of Trade Union and held an awarding ceremony. Standing Member of Jining Municipal Party Committee and President of Trade Union Liu Mingyuan attended the ceremony. Company leaders such as Secretary of Party Committee and the Chairman of the Board Dong Ping, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice-General Manager Han Limin and Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and President of Trade Union Zhang Yuanhai attended the discussion meeting.

Chairman of the Board Dong Ping made a brief introduction of Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Shantui is a large-scaled first-class backbone enterprise to manufacture and sell bulldozer, road machinery, forklift, loader and small-scaled construction machinery and machinery parts. With products exported to more than 100 countries and districts, the export quantity ranks the top of the industry. In the future, Shantui will make efforts developing to be a multiple and international construction machinery manufacturer.

Leaders and superintendents taking charge of Party, Administration and Labor Department attended the awarding ceremony. Liu Haihua gave a speech on the ceremony and appreciated highly on Shantui.

In 2008, the trade union of the company gained new development under the leadership of Municipal Trade Union and Party Committee of the company, especially normalizing in terms of deepening democracy management and sticking to sign collective contract on the basis of completeness and equality.
