The first 43m concrete pump truck of Zoomlion Heavy Industry was set off from Changsha to Australia. Zoomlion is also the first company to export 43m concrete pump truck to Australia. “Although Australian market demands are not so large, it is a high-end market for international construction machinery. Entering this market means we are adaptable for the standards of international high-end market with demonstrative effects to other regions.” Chen Peiliang, General Manager of Zoomling Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd. Overseas Corporation said. Following this breakthrough, main products of the company such as concrete machinery, construction cranes and tower machine have entered the market.

Recently, global high-end markets of construction machinery are mainly in North America, West Europe and Australia. Compared with other markets, developed markets have higher requirements on the safety, environmental protection and economic of products, which means it is a symbol for Zoomlion to enter Australian market that its manufacturing technology has met the demands of high-end market. The company is steadily and rapidly expanding the international market with its operation covering 60 countries and districts while products exported to 30 countries and districts.

Recently, the company made efforts to acquire the global giant of construction machinery Italy CIFA S.P.A. “Once the acquisition is successful, it will assist the company to develop overseas operation several years ahead.” One superintendent of the company declared in the interview today. As an old European enterprise, CIFA has apparent advantages on market network, thus playing an important role in the development of company’s overseas operation especially in European market. The result will be disclosed in the coming one or two weeks.
