The 103^rd Canton Fair ended its 6-day’s first phase. According to the information of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau, the export dealing amount of Ningbo Trading Delegation was up to 1.496 billion dollars, realizing a year-on-year increase of 3%. The top 5 dealt countries (districts) are EU, Middle East Asia, America, Canada and Australia with import dealing intention of 10 million dollars. New products, brand-famous products and quality products becoming more must be the new feature of this Fair. Some new and brand-famous products with innovative design, advanced technology and unique function are popular with foreign merchants. Aux Group put forward more than 100 kinds of air-conditioners, bringing over 60 million dollars dealing amount; Yongfa’s eight series of new safes gained orders in value of nearly 25 million dollars and Ruyi electric reach forklift had attracted foreigners to order eagerly for its smartness.

Moreover, due to the depression of American economy and the over-fast revaluation of RMB, some purchasers were just under wait. Except the increasing number of purchasers in Africa and South America, European and American purchasers as well as Hong Kong purchasers who mainly do re-export trade to European and American markets reduced greatly. According to the statistics of Canton Fair Commission, the export dealing amount of first phase were 25.429 billion dollars, only a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.
