On Feb. 22, 2008, Yantai City’s economy openness working conference was held in Haijing Hall of Dongshan Hotel. Sun Yongchun, the secretary of Yantai Municipal Party Committee and standing committee director of Municipal People’s Congress, and Zhang Jiangting, the vice secretary of Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Yantai City, attended the conference, while about 100 relative leaders of counties and cities, representatives of municipal departments and relevant institutions and enterprises took part in the conference.

The conference was mainly to complement the principle at the Province’s economy openness working conference and the City’s economy working conference, summarize the opening work of the whole city in 2007, study and arrange the tasks and measures in this year. At the conference, advanced units on opening work in 2007 were commended; Doosan Infracore (China) Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorable title of 2007 Top Ten Enterprises of Import & Export. As the secretary of Yantai Municipal Party Committee and standing committee director of Municipal People’s Congress, Sun Yongchun presided over the conference. Zhang Jiangting, the vice secretary of Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Yantai City, gave a speech.

As one of the first open coastal cities, Yantai City has achieved greatly on opening work, forcefully promoting the economic and social development of the whole city and contributing a lot on the opening cause of the whole province. Doosan Infracore (China) Co., Ltd. adapts actively to the new situation at home and abroad by seizing the opportunities, handling the challenges, erecting strong opening sense and actually strengthening the competition ability after opening up, and has provided forceful impetus and support for the scientific, harmonious and leading development of the whole city.

In 2008, the 30th year of opening and reform, Doosan will stride onto a new stage on the basis of exporting and selling excavators in 2007, and creating new situation for Doosan’s export and sales.
