Brief Introduction of Hyundai Hope Primary School

Donation: RMB410,000 Yuan

Beijing Hyundai donated RMB110,000 Yuan, Hyundai (Jiangsu) RMB150,000 Yuan and Jiangxi Xuanyuanchunqiu RMB150,000 Yuan.

Guangfeng, where Hyundai donated and constructed the Hope Primary School, is the area in which the sales volume of Hyundai excavators is maximal in Jiangxi Province. As a famous Hometown of Excavator, over 10000 excavators are retained there. From 1998, sales of Hyundai in Jiangxi market exceeded 1600 units, with marketing share nearly 45% and ranking to the top in the market (among which, marketing share in Guangfeng amounts to 65%, total sales volume exceeding 700 units), which gained the recognition of Jiangxi customers.

In order to repay the society, support the public welfare and help rural poor area in China to improve the conditions of basic education, Beijing Hyundai Jingcheng Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Hyundai (Jiangsu) Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. jointed together with a local agent to invest and construct this hope primary school.

With the donation RMB110,000 Yuan from Beijing Hyundai, RMB150,000 Yuan from Hyundai (Jiangsu) and RMB150,000 Yuan from Jiangxi Xuanyuanchunqiu, the hope primary school-Hyundai Exploitation Hope Primary School were laid foundation on Dec. 16, 2007 in Dashi Town, Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province. It is planned to finish construction before Aug. 30, 2008 and put into use on Sep. 1, 2008. The school holds total floor area:11140m², floor area of building: 726m², building area: 2266m^2, with teaching building, office building, dormitory, canteen and sports ground (race track). After finishing construction, the school can contain over 900 pupils from Grade 1-6 and over 40 teachers.

At the ground-breaking ceremony on Dec. 16, 2007, Zhu Meiqing, the Vice-Head of Guangfeng County in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, Zhu Bingliang, the Propaganda Minister of Guangfeng County, Li Chunsheng, the Vice General Manager of Beijing Hyundai, and Zhang Guosheng, the General Manager of the agent—Jiangxi Xuanyuan Chunqiu Industrial Co., Ltd. participated the ceremony.
