Congresswoman Niki Tsongas and Senator John Kerry toured Nuvera Fuel Cells’ 111,000 square foot Billerica headquarters on Friday, January 25, 2008

BILLERICA, MASS., January 29, 2008 – Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (D-MA) and Senator John Kerry (D-MA) toured Nuvera Fuel Cells’ 111,000 square foot Billerica headquarters, including 56,000 square feet in state-of-the-art manufacturing lab space, on Friday, January 25. The Company’s officers gave Senator Kerry and Congresswoman Tsongas an overview of Nuvera’s three near term products, PowerFlowTM, PowerTapTM and ForzaTM; longer term products with potential use for military and tractor trailer applications; and their partner, East Penn Manufacturing’s product, ReadyPowerTM, for the forklift market.

Senator Kerry and Congresswoman Tsongas addressed Nuvera’s employees, speaking of their collective support of fuel cell commercialization activities and of Nuvera as a driving force in Massachusetts’ alternative energy development.
