Displayed on the Genie stand at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry, 6-7 February 2008, will be a host of lifting equipment from the company’s extensive range.

Representing the material lifts will be the Genie® Superlift™ Advantage. This manually operated material lift comes with multiple base, winch and load handling options allowing the machine to be customized to fit the requirements of the job. Customers can choose from two styles of base and seven load handling attachments. The compact, portable design rolls through standard single doorways and loads easily into a pickup truck. The Superlift™ Advantage can lift up to 454 kg of material to heights of 3.49 m, and up to 295 kg to heights of 7.94 m.

From the personnel lift range, the Genie® AWP™-25S and the Genie® GR™-15 Runabout™ will be on display. The GR™-15 is a compact, low-weight machine used for warehousing, stock-picking and transporting. The GR™-15 has a working height of 6.47 m and a lifting capacity of 227 kg. Like other Genie® machines, the Runabout® can be customized according to the needs of the application. Different platform options and accessories are available including a stock picker platform and a gated extension deck platform.

The AWP™-25S can be put to work on a wide variety of rental, light-duty construction and maintenance applications. A choice of three bases is offered; standard, narrow or rough terrain, as well as six different platform options. The AWP™-25S has a maximum working height of 9.57 m and can lift up to 159 kg. It is easy to transport due to its lightweight design and rear mast pivot bar, plus its small size allows it to manoeuvre easily through standard doorways. Genie® AWP come with a durable mast and platform constructed of aircraft-quality aluminium – the mast provides user comfort and security at all working heights.

Representing the boom product line at this year’s show is the latest addition to the range, the Genie® Z™-40/23N RJ self-propelled articulating boom. This electric boom is ideal for indoor use and its narrow base makes it perfect for industrial applications. Genie® engine-powered articulating Z™-booms provide lifting versatility with a combination of up, out and over positioning capabilities and outreach. The working height of the model is 14.32 m and it is capable of lifting 227 kg.

In addition, there will also be a trailer-mounted boom lift on show, the Genie® TZ™-34/20, which has the added benefit that it can easily be towed behind a pickup or SUV. The working height of the machine is 12.36 m and the lifting capacity is 200 kg.

The latest addition to the Genie® scissor range, the GS™-3232DC self-propelled electric scissor, will also be available to view. It lifts up to 227 kg to a maximum working height of 11.75 m, and with a compact footprint of just 2.44 m long and 0.81 m wide stowed, it fits through standard doorways with ease.
