By mutual consent of the shareholders, the above company has changed its name and is no longer a joint venture company.

Perkins Engines Company Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for any of the products produced by this company at any stage and wherever sold. This is in alignment with previous public statements made by Perkins.

The new name of the company is Perkins Lovol Engines (Tianjin) Co Limited. Products from this facility will not carry the brands "Perkins" or "Powerpart" nor any Perkins logo. Perkins Engines Company Limited has no interest or involvement in Perkins Lovol Engines ( Tianjin) Co Limited and the use of the name "Perkins" in the company name is not in any way indicative of any interest or involvement. The use by the company of "Perkins" in its company name is a transitional step that will cease on 31st December 2008.

Perkins Lovol Engines (Tianjin) Limited is wholly responsible for the after-sales service and support of its products through its own independent network.
