Southaven, Miss. (September 5, 2007) – Terex Construction congratulates Tom Gray of Industrial Contracting Services in Holland, Ohio, as its grand prize winner from the Terex King of the Dirt Demo Days. Gray received an all expenses paid trip for himself, a guest and his Terex® dealer, Bob Galloway of D-P Equipment in Camden, Mich., to the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series races in Bristol, Tenn., August 23-26. Terex district sales manager John Poag hosted the grand prize winners at the race on behalf of Terex.

According to Rebecca Lashley, marketing manager for Terex Construction Americas, any contractors who attended the King of the Dirt Demo Days from December 2006 through April 2007, and purchased a Terex® tractor loader backhoe within 30 days of the event, were automatically qualified for the grand prize drawing. Contractors received one entry into the drawing for each Terex® tractor loader backhoe they purchased during that time. At the end of the promotion, the winner was chosen randomly from all the tractor loader backhoe orders.

Gray purchased a Terex® TX760B tractor loader backhoe to aid in his railroad construction and repair business. Currently, Gray uses his TX760B, equipped with forks, to haul railroad ties on a construction project. “I was impressed with the King of the Dirt event I attended in April,” said Gray. “We were able to run the different machines at the event which made it easier for us to compare to what we already had in our fleet as well as other options we were considering. I am honored to have won the trip to Bristol.”

Galloway said that D-P Equipment has carried Terex® equipment for many years, and he is pleased that his customers, including Gray, were able to benefit from attending the Terex King of the Dirt events. “The presentations and the loader backhoe rodeo during the Demo Days were excellent — Terex gave us first-class treatment,” said Galloway. “We are very excited that Tom won the grand prize.”

“For Terex, the King of the Dirt events were all about treating our dealers and their customers like kings,” said Lashley. “Attendees had the opportunity to experience Terex® construction equipment firsthand, as well as meet the people behind the products, and we here at Terex were able to reinforce our commitment to our dealer market and to the North American market. The Bristol night race package is a great finale to the King of the Dirt events. Congratulations to Tom!”

The grand prize package included three nights’ accommodations at the Crown Plaza Hotel, tickets to the Food City 250 on August 24, tickets to the Sharpie 500 on August 25, deluxe motor coach transportation to and from the Bristol Motor Speedway and INNOVA Sport Tours Pre-Race Hospitality on August 24, as well as chalet that includes food, beverage and a driver appearance.

About King of the Dirt Demo Days
The Terex King of the Dirt Demo Days brought in scores of contractors and dealers from all over the U.S. and Canada to Memphis, Tenn., to call attention to dramatic changes in the Terex® loader backhoe line, as well as to increase overall awareness of Terex Construction products and services. More than the typical manufacturer’s junket, Terex offered attendees first-rate accommodations at the historic Peabody Hotel, Memphis cuisine, an operational skills competition and a chance to operate more than two dozen pieces of construction equipment onsite. As an added attraction, participants were also able to ride along in a NASCAR stock car at Memphis Motorsports Park, where the events were held.
