AGV SUPPLIER Transbotics (www.transbotics.com) has expanded its product line with the purchase of Florida-based AutoMotion Systems (www.automotion.org), a supplier of automated guided carts.

The acquisition fills a product gap at Transbotics for “smaller less technologically demanding vehicles that can be used in a wide array of industries.” Until now, Transbotics has focused on larger AGVs and their integration with robots, conveyors and related materials handling equipment.
