Changes To Toyota Dealer Network Announced

In a move to streamline Toyota and BT materials handling equipment sales and service operations in the North, Midlands and East of England, Toyota Industrial Equipment UK is terminating its relationship with Impact, the dealership covering part of these regions.

Impact will cease to be a Toyota forklift dealer on June 30th and from that date sales and service operations across the territory will be handled on behalf of the soon-to-be-operational Toyota Materials Handling UK (TMHUK) by Toyota Industrial Equipment (Northern) and BT Rolatruc, who are both part of the new TMHUK organisation. Customer service will be delivered to the highest standards throughout this period and all customers are being personally informed of the changes.

TMHUK’s objective for the area will be to deliver the highest levels of customer service from day one, through a coordinated, efficient and solutions-driven approach.

TMHUK will be investing strongly in additional resources to enable it to reach its objectives and is now recruiting for new sales and service personnel across the North, Midlands and East.

The bringing together of the Toyota and BT brands under one roof is the most significant development in the UK materials handling industry for many years. The formation of TMHUK will offer customers, large and small, the benefit of a market-leading range of quality products and services from a single source.
