From July 23rd to 25th, CITA China International Forklifts & Parts Exposition (CITA Forklift Expo 2008) was grandly held in Shanghai Ever-bright Convention and Exhibition Center. After four years’ accumulation, CITA has developed into the No.1 expo for the global forklift industry. Presently, with certain international influence, CITA has become one of the main channels for purchasers at home and abroad to buy forklift equipments as well as the import platform for domestic forklift manufacturers to exhibit products and pursue export. This Expo has showed the latest products and technologies.
The exhibited products covered equipments related to brand forklifts and parts, material handling equipment, hoisting transportation & construction machinery tires, chains and so on, , attracting hundreds of exhibitors, such as Linde, Hangcha, Doosan, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Noblelift, Global Friend, Kipor, Huahe, Hytsu, Longjing, Shenzhou, Shantui, LongGong, Anli, Rugao Baoxiang, Lienuo, Top-Tiger, Isuzu, Yanmar, Donghua Chain, De Fang Ying, Jianghong, Jindali (former Jinyu), Zibo Storage Battery, Kangda, Huacheng, Suzhou Eritron, Wanda, Mudanjiang Bearing, Wuxi Hydraulic Machinery, Hengli, Dongwan, Qiken, Landmax, L-Guard Int’L Ent, Allen Steel and Tianjin Dynamic Tyre.
Through two years’ forklift manufacturing, Shantui attended the Expo for the first time. Moreover, Kipor and Huahe are all new bloods of forklift industry, which owns their features and advantages in terms of product appearance and new technologies. For example, the digital AC drive technology of Kipor led the industry in China while the hydraulic transmission on Shantui forklifts were self-developed by the branch company of Shantui, improving the competition of the products to a great extent.
Four meetings were held during the Expo, greatly promoting the connotation and value-added of the Expo and bringing the exhibitors different feelings.
Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association (CITA for short) held the Preparatory Meeting for Inauguration of Forklift Leasing Committee at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of Ever-Bright Convention and Exhibition Center, voting for establishing Forklift Leasing Committee, which was the first commission established during expo.
This Expo was sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai Council, CITA and Hongkong International Exhibition Design Co., Ltd., jointly undertaken by Shanghai Chaowei Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Kexin Exhibition Co., Ltd.
